Hi. Nobody ever comes in here, but in case you care, here is a little history on me. This way you get to know me a little better.

My real name is Michael (call me Mike) and I'm 6', 220lbs, blond hair and hazel eyes. I guess I'm pretty much a normal dude in most regards. As for a job, I'm a 26 year old guy getting out of the Navy in July. During that time I was a nuclear electrician's mate, as well as holding some other duties, onboard a nuclear submarine. Why am I leaving? Many reasons. I want to live. Not like a movie star or some sort of nomad, but I wanna be able to do things on my time, my terms. I want a family. I've got a lot of respect for those who start one in the military, but I know me, and to have one while I was in would tear me up. Lastly, I just don't like my job. Not for me, thanks. This job was by far the hardest thing I have done to this point, and I tried like hell to do my best, to be the go-to guy, and stick to my guns. And that don't fit in with the structure sometimes, so I'm getting out. Sometimes it feels like I did time, but what doesn't kill ya...

Anyway, I grew up in many places, but where I call 'home' is a toss-up between Upstate NY and more recently, Western WA. I have Mom, Dad and most of my family in NY, but the friends I have made in my four years here in Bremerton are part of my 'family' as well. After six trying years, growing up and beating myself in the Navy, I am finally going back to school at Rochester Institute of Technology in NY. The time has come, but still I'm a little--well, lets just say I'm a little unsure of my future. Nobody likes starting over, but life is full of beginnings and ends. After three years of school, I have no firm idea where I wanna live. The Southeast U.S. is completely out of question, but after that, I'm open. Guess I need a job. Yeah, that'd help, ya think? Wanna hire an electrical engineer three years from now?

As for the rest, I have some great friends all around the country, and I figure I'm lucky as hell to have 'em. Not too often you find people who can laugh at my jokes and take my presence. I wish all my buddies far and wide the best of luck. Wish me luck too. That wraps me up, if you wanna know more, ask. If you're that nosey you gotta meet me half way. Goodbye!
